Soft food not just mash potato. More hot tea offered to patients. Physiotherapist sometimes do not know the history of the patient and should be able to see how frail they are, if the patient was walking before being admitted a bad fall is going to take longer for recovery, depending on age.

Everything I asked for was provided, however the time taken to provide me with what I wanted could be improved.

Review of 8C Ward - RLH written by a patient
2nd March 2016

The nurses, doctors and healthcare assistants were very friendly and nice but I wasn't very happy with the hygiene of the whole room I was in, there was rubbish under the bed and tables, I stayed 3 days and saw no cleaning, the toilet/bathroom was disgusting, they left urine bowls on the floor throughout my whole stay. It was smelly and could catch any sort of bad bacteria. My bed got changed daily but the table and my surroundings weren't even wiped once..
